UGGG!

Well got to squeeze in 12 holes (missed the first 6 due to son's hockey game) on Saturday with some buddies from Church and The Self Taught golfer was playing pretty well until......the 18th hole. I had a 38 on the back up until that point and proceeded to take a 9 on the 18th. Totally my fault as it was almost dark and my partners and I were rushing to get done. My swings were hurried; should have taken my time....lesson learned.

The British Open

WOW! What a great weekend and that was with no Tiger. I see a lot of sob stories for Tom Watson today but you have to close the deal (which he has done, not saying he choked). He didn't do it and Stewart Cink played solid golf all weekend and put the dagger in when he had to. Congrats to Cink who by all accounts is a great guy. Guess my Kenny Perry hunch was just that.

British Open

I am going out on a limb and taking Kenny Perry to win the British. Just a hunch.

Old Golf Clubs

Anyone else come across anything like this? A few weeks ago I was snooping through my Dad's garage and came out with 3 bags with full sets of clubs in each. One was a set of the old Goldwin ADVP III irons Nick Price used to play with in the late 90s. The second set was the original Hawkeye Tungsten Ti irons from Callaway and the 3rd a set of clone Callaway's. There were also 2 Hawkeye drivers, one Hawkeye 3 wood, several putters and a set of Warrior clubs that included a driver, 2 fairway woods and a 60 degree wedge. Hit me up if you are interested...I told Dad I would sell them for him.
